A Series of Individual Haiku

I walk in silence

Muffled words of shackled thoughts

Dreams lost to this life

.................

Sunlight beams down hard

Warm spirit rises to sky

Burnt shell turns to dust

.................

But resurrection

You taste like water for thirst

Raindrops to deserts

.................

Lost then found again

I wandered away from me

But my soul knows home

.................

Home is within me

A hearth ready to welcome

Intrigued by the one

.................

You are a whisper

Quiet storms circling within

Your lightening strikes

.................

You are powerful

A dominant existence

Weakened by a glance

.................

I think you like me

But hide yourself in your skin

Think I like you too

.................

I am living flesh

Blood flows again from my heart

All sickness not death

.................

A rose is still red

A violet is still blue

…….And yes, I still love
