The Senses

Do you see it?

The rain?

It's the tears of sad souls.

Do you hear it?

The thunder?

It's the screams of those who have lost.

Do you feel it?

The sunshine?

It's the warmth of our loved ones.

Do you smell it?

The clean air?

It's Mother Earth cleansing her people.

Do you taste it?

The salt?

it's the washed away tears from a long day of sadness.

Do you know it?

The love?

It's the feeling of being accepted by those around you.

To see,

to hear,

to feel,

to smell,

to taste,

to know.

These are what make us human,

and prove that we are worth

every moment of our lives.
