Self Imposed Cypher

Location

Deceived by my own thoughts of what should be

This world is truly cruel to those like me

Who aren't scared enough to close their eyes and dream

Escape a reality that is far from what it seems

Simple complexity, the way I see things

Time will tell what the universe brings

The necessary signs as I profess my artistry

Leave my own mark on the rest of HIStory

This is just another occasion I display my thoughts

Try to comprehend why my mind is so out of sorts

This has got to be the most suitable way of expression

Tune in live to my very own cypher session

Lights low, the crowd anticipates every spoken word

Enticed by some outstanding rhymes they’ve never heard

Snapping fingers in the place of an applause

Look down at the excitement I have just caused
