Seeking Me

Location

It is hard to unwrap beauty

To hope for others to see past the lies

A blank stare of your nudity

Or a porcelain face in disguise

Underneath the flters

Where I would rather hide

Is a face full of freckles

And beauty marks beside

Is it weird that I ponder

To think of another face for me

Then every time get reminded

Why God made me, me

Behind the mask is a girl

Of pale, white and uneasy skin

A couple crooked teeth with a gap in between

And scars to remember where I've been

My smile will change some ones day

My eyes will lead a journey

My nose reminds you of my dad

I am not ashamed of this glory

I can excel my features with a fiter

I can hide behind a mask

But once some one seeks further

I know that love will last
