See You Later

Location

As I walk through the halls, I can’t help to think

The time is near, our time is finally here

I’ve been to many graduations, sometimes joyous and sad occasions

The time is coming to say final good byes

No more see you laters or tomorrow

My, how times fly

Am I ready to leave?

Such a conflicted question

Yes, no, maybe I don’t know

Will I be sad to leave?

The answer remains the same

I wanna scream yes, because I’m ready for change

I’m a little hesitant to venture on my own

I’ve known this place forever, it was my second home.

I’ve been at this school for five years

They were filled with up and downs

What will I do next?

Colorado is in the picture.

Different state and enviroment

I’ll be the same me, but I may learn to ski

I will miss my mom, my dad, even this town

But I’m leaving here, no longer Smoketown-bound
