Horrid grammar, broken speech
So hard I try, but cannot reach
This counselor who wants to teach
The basics of her language
In all my dreams I never thought
My life would take THIS sort of plot
This brand new land, though home it's not
Has changed me all the same
But I stick out, like foreigners do
Can't even talk about Doctor Who
Pale skin, blonde hair, all rarities, too
Within this land accross the pond
The entrance exams, how will I cope?
Then there's that audition, no time to mope
Drown my worries out in hope
And ask the College back home
In these lessons I sometimes cry
I miss the friends I left behind
Pressure and pain leak through my eyes
But I don't know the words to say
Just simply can't articulate
She says my skills will accelerate
Due to the time we dedicate
To the basics of her language
