Seasons

The spring has come with flowers in bloom
Their colors bright as day
As if bursting from a mother's womb
They chase the blues away

With hotter weather round the bend
The summer's finally here
We wish that it would never end
This time that we hold dear

But warmer weather doesn't last
And soon the leaves will fall
The warmer days are in the past
Too distant to recall

Coping with the cold is something that we'll have to learn
Have faith my dearest people, warmer weather will return.
