seasons

arm in arm on the boardwalk

giggle at the

ice cream dribble on your chin -

sink or swim, i’ll still sip lemonade with you

by the pool

hand in hand in the hallway

whisper about the

homework mr. jones assigned -

flunk or pass, i’ll still sip soda with you

in the band room after school

head on shoulder in my front yard

silence as our

tears water the withered violets in the garden -

near or far, i’ll still sip hot chocolate while I wait for your call

by the fireplace

arm in arm on the boardwalk

giggle at the

ice cream dribble on your chin -

train or plane, i’ll find a way to

sip lemonade with you

by the pool

because I love you
