Seasons

I love the summer warm, happy, sunny
The sun reflecting off the ocean’s waves
The beach all day does not cost me money
If it were up to me I’d stay for days
Class is out there is no need to be stressed
Every summer’s the same, fun and carefree
Practice, sleeping in, friends it’s always the best
Joyful and merry is easy to be
Sadly this time I am happy must end
September rolls around and brings the cold.
Freezing and snowing is just round the bend
In Cancun it stays warm, so I’ve been told
Like a bird I’d like to fly from winter
But I can’t, and try not to be bitter.
