Seashells

Ever been to the beach and stuck your toes in the sand?
Did you find it's squishy ness grand?
Did you run in the water and find out it's cold?
Bet you didn't know there are more sights to behold

Other than starfish at the bottom of the sea
Other than pebbles by your feet
Other than the dock you can sit on by the bay
There's a fun little toy that needs some play

Some are gifts dropped off by Mr. Hermit Crab
He just up and left his home without taking a cab
They come in pretty designs with edges and curves
You can use them as plates and give food to serve

This beautiful thing you must not miss
Can be a gift to a girl who will reward you with a kiss
They are just as good as pearls and pretty too
Seashells my friend will never make you blue

So go to the beach and pick one up
See for yourself and you might fancy your luck
Explore all the beach has to offer you
Your adventure there will never be through
