Sea

Location

Waves pound against the tide like Greek gods shattering against the earth,
Salt scents the air like perfume,
As the wind blows against the tourist’s ear with little angels whistling a heavenly song,

As she walks, footprints decorate the white, crystal sand,
She looks to the deadly sea where mermaids fly up in the air with their fins dancing,
A white smile spreads across her face as the mermaids sing a rippling song,

A wave hits the surface like thunder,
Making her jerk awake in her sweaty covers,
She jumps up out of her bed and almost flies to her computer,
When she opens it up, she can still see the dancing mermaids in the wide, blue sea
