But for what?

Disappointment. 

I spent the past 4 years slaving away

Behind books, pencils, pens

While you went to parties

Had lots of friends

Boys, pictures, the high school experience people call "fun"

Yet you got in

And I didn't

Now I feel like I wasted 

Wasted all 4 years

Sure I had friends and parties

But barely

Temporary fakers who tossed me to the curb

I got wait listed 

I got denied

What's the difference

You got in. I didn't

I deserve it
