Screaming: Inside and Out

Respect and kidness.

That's what I always say.

But sometimes I just can't stand those days.

Where veryone is screaming.

Getting out of control,

And what does the teacher do?

Nothing at all.

She says in a quiet voice

"Come on kids, simmer down."

But no one can hear her

Because they're all so damn loud.

Control your classroom!

So I don't have to waste my time,

Complaining and yelling, "SHUT UP!"

Before learning the lesson assigned.

It's driving me insane!

Just control your class!

Don't worry they aren't fragile

Just show them a little sass

Class time is limited,

and before the bell chimes

I want you to actually teach me something

without all this noise from behind.

Don't just say it nicely,

You must be abrupt and firm.

Then they will alll listen.

and I can actually learn.

Quieting down the class

Is not a job that's mine.

But if you don't want to do it

Well, I guess I'll continue to whine.
