satisfaction

I hold an empty notebook of bright ideas

I want to travel through time and take note

Of memories like vintage and

Timeless dreams with an outside perspective

Watch the classics of my past, but its

Lost between the margins, nothing but subtext

A story behind the story

Fallen between the former and the latter

A cruel reminder of the words that I can’t recall

And now lodged in my throat is

The omission of a mnemonic

The forgotten definition

Of satisfaction
