S. S. Officer

Oh, what have I done?

I knew it was wrong,

From the start of it all.

But once night fell

The darkness swallowed

Innocence.

Oh, what have I done?

I heard a voice in my head

As it screamed,

But I pushed it away

For all my kindness was gone.

I have seen many come

But never leave.

For they never could,

Because their lives had been taken.

Oh, what have I done?

And after all the evil

Swallowed up all the innocent souls,

 It was over and

The voice in my head started to respond,

“What have you done!”
