Running for office

Satire

James 4:8 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you double-minded.

Running for office

Luckily my brethren, we are gathered here together

Now you can hear what I have to say to make your life complete.

Follow my advice my friends and I will take you places

where I have been before in failure and defeat.

We all need to have been there for that is the way of learning.

I know from experience as I am a really good example.

You will be just like me a knight in shining armor,

who dulled some through failure as I am barely ample.

You think I am a loser well, I’m living to prove that.

You say “I’aint worth shooting”, I guess I do agree.

You say: I’m kind of worthless but that’s kind of hurting.

You say my time is wasted,  but is that what others see?
