Runner's Mind

Fri, 04/29/2016 - 15:38 -- Rams_17

Visualization filling up my mind,

Vision dose off as if becoming blind,

Finding the peace within is hard to find,

As everyone's fear is falling behind,

What I do is outstanding to mankind,

To everyone I'm a running brunette,

So focused my thoughts are hard to forget,

So lost and yet deep into my mind set,

The last thing I want to do is to fret,

Cause I know then I'll start to break a sweat,

Upon my skin I can feel the cool air,

I can see myself running in midair,

To a place that can lead to anywhere,

My body giving out on me is rare,

That no one that stumbles near won't compare,

The sound of rustling leaves of the trees,

Calmed and silenced the world that's now at ease,

A pause in the moment of life I freeze,

As I then sensed weakeness in my knees,
