Run to Dawn

I'm lost in this world.
All I know is a name; a name that's not mine.
I've nowhere to go, and nowhere to hide
I run from my past, my shame, and my truth.
I run down this path til splits into two.

One path leads to darkness, to midnight and corruption.
The path to my past calling me back.
Next path to light, blinding and harsh.
For I am not worthy to walk it.
This choice is all mine.

Onward I press,
between light and the dark.
A third path I'll forge
This new road to dawn.
