Ripple

A current swimming down the stream

Will maintain its rhythm,

While dancing with the wind.

The movement never stops, and the water does not sleep.

This infinite motion represents life.

Time cannot stop when things keep growing.

How does one learn to swim,

When continuously being pushed along the water?

The wave of life can either break, or create.

Discovering the vibe from pencil on paper,

Was like finding rocks within the stream.

I have collected these rocks from when I was young,

They helped me build my stepping stones.

This self created pathway took place in my mind.

Over the years, this form of art

Has helped clear the haze that lingers

Around me, confusing me.

Through writing, I have learned

How to naturally clear this daze.

When focusing on the positive, life is

Filled with light, love, and laughter.

Not everyone understands the beauty

Of the Earth, and what it has to offer.

Poetry has taught me how to gather

My thoughts. Emotions is what

Brings color to the word.

This path helped me find who I am today.

Our world
