The Rice-washing Soft Hand / Abu Karim

The rice-washing soft hand is now pressing

the head of the mouse, and beautiful

words are blooming on the well-lit blue screen.

Numerous swans come down from the note book

of poems; they feel suffocated in pond water,

they want to fly away in the intimacy of

the current of a river.

I want to accompany them in their flight

if somehow I can flutter wings .

I have two hands, not any wing;

with my hands I pluck out weeds from rivers,

and their violet colored flowers

are very comfortable and soothing.
