Revolving Door

Mon, 07/07/2014 - 02:42 -- j2thez

I could sit here all night

And write poems about you

Because the way that you left

Was so out of the blue.

My life is a revolving door

People constantly leaving

And everytime it closes

I am left constantly grieving.

But everytime the door shuts

It's left unlocked for someone new

The next person that opens it

Will never compare to you.

I want to lock the door forever

Or super glue it shut

Because this pain of people coming and going

Is honestly becoming too much.
