The Return

Location

You went in hoping to come right out

Only things didnt go as planned

Now I'm sitting here missing you

Wishing I was holding your hand.

How long will you like this

I'm waiting for the day, you return

Praying each day, hoping you'll get better

Knowing that you will soon come home.

Until then I'll guess I'll just wait

And continue to visit each day.

One day expecting to show up

And know that everything will be okay.

So for now, I'm going to be strong

And continue to carry life on

For I know this is what you would want

I am going to make you proud when you come home.
