Requiem For The Faded

And it seems that as the smiles fade,

We're all just left here.

And I wish you would have stayed,

But I cannot shed another tear.

Why does it have to be like this,

Why did you have to leave?

I'm left, just longing for your kiss,

Your death, I grieve.

And when your smile has faded,

You're just left here.

I wish you would have just waited,

I would have come along, dear.

And as I grow old, the memories become faded,

And you're still just left there.

I guess this note is a bit belated,

But losing your love is what I fear.

Let this become a requiem for the faded,

Sung by the ones which they've left here,

Your death will be celebrated,

And I will see you soon, my end is near.
