Pain held on for years to come
Questioning what's been done
Completely tired of feeling incomplete
My happiness is something that just can't be
So I write, I write to release the pain
I write to say the words I can't verbally say
I write poetry as my form of release
To let others see what I hide inside
Show the emotion and passion I tend to hide
I write to create my story
To show the reality behind the closed door
Poetry Is apart of me
Because now after all these years,
I am finally complete
For I have found my poetry as my release
