Relationships

Relationships are meant to be dynamic.

Including the one you have with yourself.

I think it’s incorrect to assume that we will always be happy with who we are and what we’ve done. Rather, we need to acknowledge that we are all complex beings that sometimes fail to even understand ourselves.

If we keep this in mind, we are more likely to know when to forgive or praise ourselves when the time is right.

And when the world doesn’t quite make sense, including that relationship with yourself, that is when you turn to those closest to you.

Life is full of highs and lows, good days and bad. The bad seems to outweigh the good, and the lows always stump the highs.

Understanding that I do not deserve to have good things handed to me, and that I too, must go through a hell beyond imaginable to obtain a certain level of “okayness” is a process that never ends.

This is true for everyone.

I often find myself wishing it would end, that it’s not my turn to feel this way anymore, constantly asking myself; What could I have done to deserve this?

But then I remember that these things happen for a reason, I am here for a reason.

This is true for everyone.

We must always remember this.

Understanding the relationship between the brain and the heart may be one of the most difficult things to do.

The mind knows what the heart chooses to ignore, creating a never ending battle between the two.

But we cannot allow these things to take over our lives.

Because what we must truly always remember, is that the most important relationship of all is the one you have with yourself.

Self love is important.

Self care is important.

Take the time to appreciate yourself and realize your worth.

Learn to love your imperfections and embrace them.

Learn from your mistakes and continue to grow.

Conduct your blooming.
