Reflections on a lonely masked ball

Behind that mask there’s a face
That no one has seen.
Anguish and longing for the love of another
Blind and singular
Hidden from the tragic moments that haunts my dreams
No one pays attention to the victim, just the bullies of long age
That pervades this waking dream
No one will see the glorious person that is
Holding themselves back because of fright
Rejection
Pain
Loneliness
Fear is fickle as a lover
That drives my
Secret life
During a lonely masked ball
Dancing all alone
