Rebirth

Location

Singapore

I closed my eyes,
let waterfall fly;
a droplet led me
to my corest heart.

Nothing was there,
but a cave.

Disturbed droplet
echoed its wave,
to shake my cave
in an earthquake.

Water poured in,
the ceiling had broke,
my cave was now
flooded, and in shock.

Silence...
It was all gone.

Taught by a phoenix
to color the grey,
self trusted feelings
not to walk away.

I closed my eyes.
Damaged, with no cave,
I let smile lead me
to a new pathway.

Silence...
Brightness was there
