What a strange school of thought…
A sort of road as well.
Double cheeseburger and a beer, both bought
Because of an ad in a magazine:
Reading as consumers, like we are taught.
What is it people have nowadays seen
Where they believe all they read should ring true?
Even when what they know simply gleans.
Single articles cause changes in view
Politics, people, anything could change.
Moldable minds, a flight they flew.
Anything read brings thought into one’s range
An awful idea that should never stay,
However many details smudged or feigned.
That’s why religion prays.
Read to hell.
It’s the simplest way.
