Razor's Edge
I looked in the mirror today,
only to see the androgynous face ,
of a broken Gothic stone angel gazing back at me,
Her black quill feathers littered the ground,
Plucked out by the familiar invasive hand of pubescent progression,
Naked and disparaged, she'd never fly to that heaven again,
I took the razor from the counter and stuck it in my jaw,
She wept and despaired at the horror of mutilation,
I killed myself, but she still died with me
