Perching on rocks in the mountains,
Looking over the people below.
Watching, waiting
With the keys in his mouth.
The keys to the underworld.
Ravens watch for souls to come by.
When he has the soul in his mouth,
The bittersweet taste he loves so much.
Taking them to the underworld,
Hearing the screeching of the miserable souls,
Using the key to open the gates.
Two keys are needed:
One to open the gate,
And one to bind the soul up
With the souls in the smelling of fear,
Stinging with pain when ravens touch them
To prepare them for the rest of their life,
Taken to the caves,
To its chains for evermore.
