There is a rare gem of light and beauty

Gently emanating its many faces

Reflecting brightly in the sun and softly in the moon

Strong as any fortress

This gem can neither be found underground

Nor can it be easily discovered

But with careful look and patient stance,

Surely this gem will appear

Because for me, it already has

Before me stands my love, the gem of my existence

And every bit as special as any jewel on earth
