Rants of the Caged and Escaped

Location

I'm not the blushing bride,

Or the homecoming queen.

I'm not the girl you take home to see your mother,

or the woman who's given respect on sight.

I'm a fighter.

I punch,

             Kick,

                      And scream

With all the strength in my strong, willow armour.

I'll match your disrespect, time and time again,

with the strength of a mother,

For I am your equal.

I'm not your chew toy,

Or the body you push into for control.

I'm not one to be captured,

or one to cower inside my cardboard box,

Pathetic as a kitten.

I'm a black sheep,

A men's mentality with a woman's body.

      Whore,

                 Slut,

                        Butch Lesbian,

                                               The worst of my generation.

With all your words, you fuel my fire.

I am as I am, with no excuses,

apologies,

or exceptions.

Your cage is not for the vibrant.
