As I stand here looking at the rain,
One thing is rattling through my brain.
Where’d the days go,
And when will the sun show.
-
As the lightning strikes above,
My hearts broken out of love,
Lost all feeling so I fall,
I’m the loneliest one of all.
-
As the clouds start to turn dark,
They’ve already left their mark.
All the emotions bleeding through.
I lose hope and it rings true.
-
As the thunder begins to boom,
I am left alone in my room.
I lay on my bed with not much remaining,
I’m left here and now it’s raining.
