Rain

I've always wanted to live in Seattle.

The pitter patter of rain on the rooftops has never failed to put me right to sleep.

Some people find lightning, thunder, and the damage done in storms frightening.

Storms remind me of you.

The pitter patter of your finger tips all over my skin has never failed to put me right to sleep.

Some girls find the heartbreak boys like you bring frightening.

But for some reason, I love you more than the rain itself.

I've always wanted to live in you.

I live every day hoping to make a roof under your chest

and nestle up to your heart.

Unfortunately, human beings are not homes.
