The Racing of Time

Location

Racing past at such great a speed

We get to choose the details we heed

The pace is set

It won’t slow down

We have only one chance

To race or to drown

Swirling past

Full of great intricacy

Are the details that can cause difficulty

Some choose to ignore

Some  choose to sleep

But forgeting the details makes the race entirely too cheap

The richness, the passion

They come from the time

We look out our windows and take notice to life

For time is racing

It won’t slow down

We only have one chance

To live or to drown
