The Quiet

You can't always keep the quiet at bay.

At one point or another,

You're going to have to realize that quiet

exists so we can hear our own thoughs.

We can't always let sound permeate us.

Because noise prevents us from coming to

huge epiphanies

that we really need.

Like that it might be time to rethink

friendships

because you don't have many left.

So the true friends are the ones that still call you sister,

even when you haven't really been there.

And noise drowns out the raging thoughts that maybe you need to

let go of fears,

because really, all they're doing is

drowning you.

And you're choking on fears, but when you can't even hear yourself think,

how can you know?
