Queer Boy

Why do I talk the way I walk? Walk the way I walk? Feel the way I feel?
Is it because I relate to the feminine and alienate from the games of the masculine
My love is divided
Among family and friends who may never ever know
Why I wear a smile, but walk with sadness in stow
I am an alpha
That loved another alpha
But you see
We could never be
Together in love because society would never dismantle its monument of discrimination and hatred
To allow two humans to enjoy a love just as sacred
You don't feel love
I don't feel trust
But when I see you, it's something more than lust
An outlet for me to tell
Secrets that I held and others that made my heart swell
They're all corrupt, except for YOU.
The one who, to me, remains untainted
And I, like you, will remain unacquainted
Human or gay
My struggle will never end to get through the day
