Pushing Onward

One year.

So much

And yet, nothing

Lose my life

Lose my mind

Lose my friends

Lose myself.

Move.

Move on

Move forward.

It doesn’t matter

Just keep moving.

And

Then

Begin.

Begin a year

Begin school

Begin a life,

But don’t

Pretend that

You forgot

That you don’t belong.

Not here

Not home

Not with him

Not with her

Not anywhere.

And then

Find something

To grasp onto

To grasp for

And save yourself

From drowning

In the pool

Of tears

That

You

Made.

Next,

Push through

Push up

Push forward

And push on.

No

Matter

What.

Push

On.
