Pump

My heart is my strongest muscle!

She is my mentor though she's blind.

My main source of absolute strength

The one with all the bravery:

Give me the guidance to success

Through parts unknown and interpret

The words in which have gone unheard.

My heart, you have taken me out

Of monstrosity at its worst.

Like the boxer who comes back up

Each and every time she is down.

Innate drive, strength for a lifetime--

Whatever it may be--its' you.

I will live without good grades, and

Ostentatious IQ levels,

And even the vain honors, so

I can live with you: in color.

All the aformentioned is true,

But, my heart, you are not perfect.

You carry all my emotion

Lest I am cold, but at times that

Is all I want. However, it's

You that assures to bring me warmth.

You come too fast, too strong and it

hurts: to the point where I am meek.

Fallible, yes, but I do not

scoff, nor berate, nor estrange you.

My heart, my heart, you make me feel.

You replete my soul, make me feel whole.

With you, it is only blue skies,

And colorful floral displays.

Take me in your house of mirrors,

Let me sleep in your soft white bed.

Take me wherever you go...
