A Profile of Body Written
I write to you, dear audience
Of all I see, and more
Of all my turbulence of thought
Of ones I once adored
I mark a new-turned leaf
Flaunting shameful erudition
Spin tales when sadness comes
Vent my cliché young sedition
I pen lines on my palm in ink
Of storms personified
With hints of breaking past my wall
And plotting points of sky
I string words like constellation
Of heaviness, undone
Tell my every truth encrypted
Daydream who I may become
This poem is about:
Me
