problems

I don't understand what they are

they're coming at me

like a tornado ripping my ideas.

All these problems feel like an explosion

taking over my mind.

I try to fight them but they won't get out!

Then i see a light, a source of clarity.

I realize that it was someone trying to help me.

Now i know that i'm not alone in facing

the problems that mess with our everyday lives.

Now is when i feel most at bay,

by not smoking hay.I feel hard like clay,

but I won't be astray,

trying to find a place

where i can tie this lace.

Now i know i'm not alone,

with this growing bone.

I do know now that problems

are just something that are

put in our way so we can see

that we are stronger,

even when we don't feel it.
