Zelda the Twilight Princess

Who can’t go on an adventure

without someone sending her boyfriend after her,

to bring her back and ‘protect’ her.

 

Really she just wants to explore

and be free for a while.

They are all so worried she might fall

or get scratched or get bumped.

 

But has anyone realized

that she is ahead of Link

with no weapons, shields, potions, or help

and they think she is weak.

 

Link uses extra lives

buys potions

upgrades his weapons

and is constantly having to ask for direction

 

If they just gave Zelda

a month or two she would be back

without a scratch or a bump

and Link wouldn’t have any either.
