The Princess Poetry Part 6

Your weak princess

Wishes to cause herself harm

But is unable to do as she wishes

She knows not what holds her back

From ripping through her skin

Or pressing burning metal to her am

To the deepest depth, she wants to

Yet scarring her body

Seems unreachable

Because she’s too weak

To lift the maliciously benevolent blade

And drag it across

Her purely pale wrist

She can’t stain the floor

With her discontent

All she can do

Is sit and weakly,

Claw at her arm

With dull nails

Causing not a single drop to fall

What a failure of a princess.
