Thoughts flow through our heads

As we wait to find the place were we belong

We go through a lot such as pain

We can’t make it fade with the rain

It makes us feel unstable

Our emotions tell us to take challenges as the days go by

We have been through a lot

Suffered a lot of pain

We had our days

Hid through some walls

Suffered a lot put downs

Had a lot of regrets

But it'll turn around

Because I have the power to put that in the past

I have the power to control myself

I am a strong woman

Who plans on making it to the top?

I am a woman who knows she's no longer alone

A woman who knows life has its ups and downs

But still believes she is a woman who can create a new world

A new world for all women, who have been through a lot

Because we have the power to say we are important no matter what

And no other person can take that from us because we are powerful
