the postamble
Oh, say can you see the corruption we are facing
By the dawns early light, we can’t see nothing because the smogs too thick,
Who did we so proudly hail to make america great again?
At the twilight’s last gleaming, we wondered if this was the end
Whose broad striped and bright stars and carries a big stick
Through the perilous fight for the straight white male rights
O'er the ramparts we watched as our homeland fell apart
Not so gallant now,
And the rocket's red glare!
The bombs bursting in air!
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there, but we the people were not, we did not create a more perfect union, there was no union to be found, because day by day we’re tearing each other apart through the sexism, the racism, the xenophobia, the hate
Oh, say does that star spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free
And the home of the brave?
No,
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America
and to the Republicans on which it stands,
one nation,
Too divisible,
with liberty and justice for some."
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, must establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity
