Once was joyful, once was pleasant

Now miserable, cuffed and convalescent

They all begin off innocent ,frolicking and laughing

But reality sets in, causing relentless thrashing

It seeps in out of nowhere, possessing the mind and body

It controls the movements, treating devastation as a hobby

Thoughts run wild, thinking of all the possibilities

Cheshire's  grin takes over, creating nasty abilities

The body starts shaking, and eyes run red like that of a devil

Humanity begins fading, and they start to bedevil

Nails bite the palms, oozing red droplets

It drips uncontrollably, like water from a faucet

The skin starts to churn and bubble with negativity

Empathy is wiped clean, creating a pathway for insensitivity

Feelings of mercy are cut off, letting destruction reign supreme

Hell is let loose, freeing the demons to makes others scream

All is lost, all has withered away

The deed is done, the force laughing at your dismay

Sanity soon reappears, cleansing the remains of the puppet master

Unfortunately, it is too late, as no one forgives your violent and murderous disaster
