Poison and berries

His face was like looking at time itself

Everything moving froze in his wake

A chilling daze spread throughout his cheek

As if one had now crossed over his own cemetery

His nose was curved up into a vicious beak

Beyond lay all the secrets of the universe

Under his brow

His slimy stale odor

Leaving a trail of tears behind as he passed

The Awakened has appeared

And death has gripped its last departed soul

Beyond his grasp is a forbidden territory

One not yet crossed

The Dead Man’s home is within sight

The horizon is just by yonder

He shouldn't fail this journey nor falter

This poem is about:
Our world
