Poetry,

So simple a word that creates sentence,

These sentences turn into verses,

Those verses form a story,

And within the story you learn about the writer.

You read their emotions,

You feel their fear and happiness.

Poetry teaches you about someone else,

Living in the writer's shoes.

Sadly, it's only for a poem,

Some verses, a few sentences.

But within those lines you experience a life.
