A tool that allows us

to take a glipse through the eyes of others.

It is like a crystal ball

allowing us to see what life is like 

in the past, present, and to strangers who seem share a different world than us.

Poetry allows us to communicate what is in the world around us.

It allows other to see things

the way only you can see it.

It takes us to a different time.

To a different social status.

and to a seemingly different world.

Poetry connects us and allows others to feel what we feel,

and it allows others to look from a different perspective.
