Poem 88

The birds fly with no reason or intention

With no specific destination

They soar and soar far away

Too far that you lose track

They leave you in the winter

Leave because of the bitterness

Leave because it's too hard to survive

You watch them go

Sometimes in flocks

Sometimes alone

Why do te birds get to fly?

When your restricted to the ground

Why do they get to leave?

When all you ever do is stay
